Seamlessly Navigate the Legalities for Your Dream Wedding

Getting married is exciting, but ensuring all the legalities are in order is crucial. As your wedding celebrant, I’ll make the process smooth and stress-free.

Start with the Notice of Intended Marriage (NOIM)
This form needs to be lodged at least one month before your wedding and no more than 18 months in advance. It’s straightforward, and we’ll fill it out together to ensure everything’s correct.

The Big Day Essentials
On your wedding day, we’ll cover key legal elements:

• The Monitum: I’ll read this official statement about the legal nature of marriage in Australia.
• Your Vows: You’ll need to say specific vows acknowledging your commitment. I’ll provide options and help you personalise them to suit your unique relationship.

After the Ceremony
To finalise the process:

• You, your partner, and two witnesses will sign three marriage certificates.
• I’ll register your marriage with the relevant authorities, making it official.

Whether you’re marrying at Coolum Beach or another beautiful location, I’ll ensure your wedding day is seamless, meaningful, and legally binding.

How much does it cost to have you at our wedding?
There are several different options depending on what you are looking for at your wedding. Some couples are looking for something local to me on the Sunshine Coast. Others seek more involvement from me as a celebrant, MC, or pre-marriage coach. On request, I will send you an information package with different options. We can discuss your thoughts in person, on the phone, or online.

Can you be the celebrant and MC at our event?
Yes, I can be involved in your wedding as much or as little as you choose. There is an excellent flow when I perform the marriage ceremony and then transition to the wedding reception. At the start of the day, you and your guests get a feel for me and what I’m all about. Consistency helps to make your wedding day’s flow, tone, and overall energy the best it can be.

Will you travel to my wedding?
Absolutely. I’m lucky to be based in Noosa on the Sunshine Coast, but I travel to weddings all over Australia and worldwide. My information package and booking forms explain a clear and very reasonable travel fee.

What packages do you provide?
Flexibility is the key. I provide packages from a local elopement in Noosa to wedding ceremonies interstate and overseas. Packages can also include pre-marriage coaching to MC your events. Most importantly, you get to choose and customise what you want.

Can we write our vows?
You can do what you want. The best vows come from your heart and your authentic relationship. I provide examples to help you get started and suggest ways to make them extraordinary. I’m lucky enough to read many vows and can help steer you in the direction you’d like to go.
